I wanted to try to draw realistic Wings of Fire dragons, so, I practiced drawing a realistic SandWing. I really like how this turned out!You are NOT allowed to claim this as your own, steal, copy, trace, or use in any way.

Coolio! Not bad at all! It does look pretty realistic, but I have a few critiques for ya.
Nothing's wrong with the texture, other than the shading at the lump of the throat, but I think some tweaks in the anatomy will really make it pop. For example, try making his head more bird- or lizard- like and not as boxy. Considering that desert lizards are probably closely related to SandWings, making it look like them will add some more realism. And for the two (I don't know what it's called, so bear with me) crease-bone-things behind the nostril and in front of the eye, I'd move the upper one farther up on his face, maybe parallel to the eye. Another thing that looks a little off is the lump in his throat. I would personally smooth it out a bit, if not remove it entirely. Also, the eye. You can really tell it's round in shape, but I'd add a crease under it to look like it's supported. Right now it kinda looks like it might pop out of the socket.
