Most of your readers likely have no idea about number 3. A perfectly acceptable afternoon will result from my partner and I going out shopping, trying on 30 or so items each and maybe buying 1 or 2 each. Of course, that includes the 2 hour lunch break with a couple of other friends.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE GOING TO OCCUPY A BOOTH FOR A COUPLE HOURS LEAVE A VERY LARGE TIP FOR THE WAITRESS.

I know that. I was only musing with you about how big of an event clothes shopping is to those of our gender. My Dad could pop in and the tubes (yeah they had tubes back then) in the car wouldn't cool off by the time he came back. For Mom and me, they would introduce a whole new model year by the time we got back. Back in the 50s, life was very simple in America. I am assuming it was much harder for your grandparents in Yugoslavia, or were they in Poland by then?
