Heavily detailed custom commission for @zephyr093Probably the biggest commission I've ever produced both figuratively and literally (5000x4134)
I always enjoy doing stuff for zephyr093 because he tends to bring out the best of my skills and is always a milestone of quality.
I sincerely thankyou Zeph for trusting me with such personal works ^^
This took an ungodly amount of time but I'm happy with the result. There was much back and forth making sure all the details were the way he wanted them and we finally got this in the end XD
This also helped me fineite my painting style again after a few months of not doing so.
He is also recieving a little animation test which I may post too, if I can get dA to co-operate with me.
Some people are probably gonna want to berate me for drawing OCxCannon like this. For the protection of my comisher I say this:
What I care about is what the commissioner wants. Giving a product that's tailored and personalized for them is kind of the whole point no?
If I agreed to do it, than their wishes are my goal. Their happiness from my work is what makes me want to do it in the first place.
My commissioners are perfectly in their rights to ask for drawings as I am to say yes.=============================================

Oh, another Zephyr picture. I'm a bit jealous of how many artists he can afford to commission, but that's just helping my work ethic to try to get raises. More money means more art, after all! Really like that it has three scenes like that. The rule of three really shines, and it's fairly easy to see the miniature story that's woven into those three shots. Overall a great job! I'll need to save up for a computer wallpaper idea I'm starting to get. XD

I just look at it as his hobby. It might seem a bit jarring to some but it might just be the "thing" he does for himself.
Same way I have basically a bird bed n bath breakfast as a balcony. We spend quite a bit of money on bird food and if anyone knew the expenses from it would probably scream at us for how crazy we are XD

Yeah I was really concerned it was gonna look too chaotic because I had a rather strict setup but It's surprisingly balanced. ^^

That's a good way of looking at it, actually. I also ship my OC with Twilight, and have commissioned a fair amount of art of them together, though not nearly the amount Zephyr has. (Yet 
It's nice to have an idea brought to life through art, particularly if that idea expresses affection for a favourite character. I know that's something not everyone will understand, or even necessarily agree with, but that's what I think.
It's kind of funny though. I don't really give most Twilight ship pics much of a look, simply because I'm not all that interested in the pairing, I have to admit that I've found several of the pictures he's commissioned to be quite beautiful and sweet. I've even discovered a few artists because I happened to see one of those pics, and subsequently commissioned a couple of them.
Speaking of which, if you don't mind doing another Twilight x OC pic, I'd love to commission you.

I will be honest this took at least 20 notes back and forth to complete.
I guess that is my goal though, which is why I'm so tolerant with edits and changes. Since the person usually can't draw I have to thoroughly interpret their words for them.
Which means I just get to understand them personally better and giving out a better product.
Twilight does seem to be the popular one

Oh no, trust me, my mom is a 'crazy bird lady', so I know just how expensive it gets. XD I split my money between art, video games, and tabletop stuff, so yeah, I definitely stretch myself thin as it is. I should really pull back a bit, but art is just so addicting. x_x
Yeah, definitely well-balanced. Really like the whole picture. It's the small things that help the big things even bigger, it seems.
