I feel like overall I did a great job with this attempted style

My only problem is the hat. It doesn't look.... there, it looks like it's just floating and I know why too >>'
My only other complaint is the nose and the shadow RIGHT above it makes it look like the nose itself is lopsided and poor

Small Rant
Every time I draw something cannon I get featured, Obviously that's NOT something to complain about so why do I say this?
Because I dedicate most of my drawings to oc's and giving to others. The only time I do cannon is if it was a Commission or heavily influenced. I know I have the skill to make awesome artwork for the brony crowd but I can never think of anything T_T

The only one that I HAVE done on my own was abandoned because it was ticking me off.

Will you guys freaking tell me what to draw? XD My imagination is bland
