Description
I walk alone, head down,in a pale grey scene.
Every step leads to atrophy.
This body made for conquest,
instead a pawn on a stage so worthless.

Lately, I have found myself connecting deeply to the song "The Color Theft" by Oh Sleeper, and it is said song that inspired this bit of fanart.
For those who are interested in the song, you can listen to it here: [link]

ANYBODY, and everybody is welcome to color this. Please just drop me a comment to let me know. That way, if I miss your upload, I can track you down to see what your take on it is. I love colorist, and seeing how they interpret my work<3.
NOTE TO COLORIST: Download the full sized lineart, it will make things easier.
Art (c) TCN, "Shrii"
Kagome (c) Rumiko Takahashi
"The Anatomy of the Dog" by Klaus Dieter Budras and Patrick H. McCarthy was used as a reference for the skull. (Yay for keeping text books, I have a cat one as well lol)

very interesting. Is the dog's head a particular dog? like Sesshomaru or the Taishou?

When I first drew the lineart, I had planned it to be Taishou - however, after coloring it, I feel it could be either...because I'm indecisive like that lol.

I'm going to try to color it sometime. Got a few pictures I need to finish first, but I'm curious to see what I can do with it. (My coloring style seems to change with each picture so I don't know what this one will turn out like.)
By the way, who's skull is that? I'm hoping it isn't Sess, but judging by Kagome's state of dress it looks like severe battle has occured or something.

When I first started it, the idea was that it was his - but when I finished,I feel it can also be his fathers.

When I saw it here's what I thought of:
Sesshomaru's skeleton:
Kagome and Sesshomaru had endured so many hardships and this would come at the "end" of a story where maybe Sess had been killed way back and was left to rot. Kagome continued to battle for revenge and finally made it to his "grave" where she would probably just sit by him until she couldn't feel herself anymore.
Father's:
Could be some twist of the original series where Inuyasha and Kagome travel to the grave but it's Sesshomaru instead of Inuyasha and maybe they've been battling for a long time before reaching it.

Nice to both of 'em. I totally dig the first one the most. When drawing this, I was trying to picture some sort of wasteland/bone-yard. So both scenarios would work beautifully.
