Only drew a doodle of lil' Skylor because I don't know what her mom looks like :/

Some context first: the golden weapons in this au specifically conduct and store elements in a way that allows anyone with even the most minuscule amount of elemental ability, able to activate any of the golden weapons even if it doesn’t align with their own element. There are also other golden weapons such as a battle axe of water and there’s probably a hammer and bow lying around somewhere. But more importantly, there was a gold staff that belonged to Skylor’s mother.
The staff was the only golden weapon forged with the task of holding multiple elements which would lift the burden on her elemental veil when using all of her collected powers, a luxury Skylor unfortunately wasn’t given. Like Skylor, her mother had the ability to copy any element, however instead of proxies, her mother’s true potential was the ability to steal another’s element entirely. She could then transfer it to another person, create a physical manifestation of it, or meld it into inanimate objects if they can handle it, such as the time gauntlets or *cough* Zane *cough*
The staff imitated the use of her true potential, gaining the ability to cut out people’s elements and store them. And after she presumably dies, the staff is left in the hands of her husband. Who as we all know goes on an bit of an insanity spree, jabbing people with it for a good solid week until the ninja recovered it and then tries to take over the continent with an army of rubbery snakes.
