Slight redesign for the other Zane because for whatever reason I drew the red eye scope on his left when Cryptor had it on his right.

A somewhat brief summary: When the Overlord started to over take Borg industries in the first timeline, Zane was captured and Dr Julian's technology was reverse-engineered to build the nindroid army. However they also reprogrammed him as the nindroid general, using his core to power the nindroid sentries and used his likeness to take advantage of the ninja. Because of the magic vs technology discord building between Chen and Borg, their respective factions started to wage war on each other with a very unprepared Ninjago City between them. Eventually the ninja provoked a showdown with Zane and seized him from the clutches of the Overlord, escaping into the outer wastelands. The nindroids were able to hold up for a time but were ultimately purged by the proxies when Skylor awakened her true potential. In the end a good chunk of the continent was left uninhabitable and Ninjago City was quarantined off by Skylor.
After traveling to the new/main timeline, he took it upon himself to ensure the same events wouldn't happen again and without involving the ninja of the current timeline. After Zane sacrificed himself to defeat the overlord, the other Zane gave his own core up so Zane's could be repaired and the remnants were placed in Echo Zane.
