OKIEDOKE, more ET's from one of my all time favorite xenobiology artists, ! There's a LOT of aliens in his gallery, and needless to say a lot of them have a VERY complex anatomy. Most of which I might definitely have trouble actually being able to draw myself. Either way I think I'm gonna do other commissions and side projects while taking time with these if I ever get around to drawing more of 'em! But ANYWAY, here's more of his stuff! As well as the descriptions from the deviations themselves, mostly cuz again, it's REALLY difficult to abridge this stuff.

The 3! - 3! are a race of small, quick sophonts from Galaxy135. Their species originated from the planet 369; a small world orbiting a somewhat larger terrestrial. Although their position of rank in their home galaxy is somewhat disappointing to them, they have proven to be more tolerant than they first appeared.

The average baseline 3! stands about 2.7 feet high. Evolved from hexalaterally symmetrical starfish-like creatures, they are now tetrapods. Four limbs have become ambulatory organs, while the other two have assumed postions as head and tail. The cephalon is divided into two units. The lower unit serves as a beak-like mouth. This beak is equiped with sensitive electroreceptors, useful tools in locating hidden prey, or in modern times, inspecting their own technology. The upper unit contains a high-functioning ganglia, paired nostrils, and highly developed hems. Heming is a sense which incorporates electromagnetism as sound. The 3! have no eyes or ears. Thir entire bodies are also extremely sensitive to vibrations, especially their hands and feet. The hands and feet of 3! are really quite interesting themselves. 3! possess ball-socket joints at the wrists and ankles. This allows their hands and feet to spin in indefinite circles. The forearms of 3! also serve specialized fnctions. Large, poisonous quills (now usually clipped in modern society) provide protection. There is also a row of enzyme-producing glands which have an affect on their skin. The creamy substance drys their skin into a watertight covering. 3! are amphibious beings with naturally moist skin. They are born as totally aquatic larvae with jointed, paddle-like fins. 3! are warm-blooded entities with active habits. They are excellent swimmers and can move quickly on land by hopping. Their primary method of movement includes running across the surface of water with very rapid spin-cycles of their feet, and running motions of their legs. Creatures who constructed dams and various specialized structures upon the surface in prehistory, their modern architecture is always diluted in water. They also still prefer live prey, as it appeals to their electrical sense. 3! communicate trough vibrational body language, and through EMPs sent through a battery-like brain.

Due to their method of communication, their technology is not so advanced in electronics. Nevertheless, they are highly skilled in optics, ceramics, and intricate machines powered by seft-regulating systems or chemicals. Virtually all their thought-processes are derived from what humans would call math. Their mathematical minds may have originated from inbuilt reflexes of movements and their need to construct proper homes and detect food. Every aspect of their lives is governed by some equation, formula, theorem, or system designed to eventually sum to perfection. Each individual 3! has his or her own unique perspective and interpretation of some form of 'weird math,' (called so because humans fail to see how many of their systems are related to mathematics).

An ignorant 3! would call any species that does not possess such highly developed senses of math inferior. Many 3! were ignorant then, at the dawn of the nexxus. 3! happen to share their home galaxy with one other sophont race, the nthd'iy. Nthd'iy are an ammonia-based race whose cognitive abilities are, to put it lightly, not one of their most outstanding attributes. The average nthd'iy can barely understand addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. And yet, as they had been a stable and peaceful species for millions of years, they were far superior to the 3! at first contact with the nexxus. The nthd'iy's especially peaceful and accepting ways made them the first of the two races to be qualified as a liberated race, while the 3!, having only advanced to a single global civilization at the arrival of the nexxus, were not deemed ready to interact with other sophonts for many years. Many nthd'iy were even assigned as overseers of 3! worlds. The neosapiens eventually proved a theorem to convince the 3! of their needed friendship with nthd'iy, as well as other mathematically-challenged sophonts. Most 3! today feel a respectful/rueful awe towards their closest neighbors.

The Pals - The pals are shy, hedonistic civilization within Hoag’s Object. Their home world is Pal Prime. They are carbon/water based life forms which incorporate both plant and animal characteristics. Their upper bodies are protected by a network of fine scales composed of cellulose. These are also able to perform photosynthesis to produce extra energy for the pal. The lower body is covered in fur. Their brains are laced with copper and aluminum wires formed from their bone structure, which is based on these two abundant metals of Pal Prime. The brain is located in the upper chest cavity. The nostrils of pals are located at their elbows of their ‘necks’. The heads are small and sensitive to touch, taste, and light. Each head possesses two fingers, and a sensory bulb. These bulbs are rimed with photoreceptors. The fingertips also contain silk glands. The silk is used to coat the body in protective layers for insulation and tool storage. A pal’s mouth sits between the two jointed necks. Pals are a herding species with males and females. When they are hatched from their leathery eggs from within silk nests, a pal may develop into one of two distinct adult forms. Through behavioral, pheromonal, genetic, and environmental factors, some pals grow into small, submissive forms known as Saapals. Others can become larger, more dominating, and with longer tails for balance in faster running. These are called Sirpals. A saapal or sirpal may be either male or female. Sirpals are the leaders of their societies, and these are now often linked to Ultrasapients.

Pals have created a vast and bountiful civilization in their home ring galaxy. Their section of the Nexus is able to allow entire planets to be moved through the wormholes. This is why the location of the home Pal stellar system is unknown, although some archeological theories are beginning to believe they are close to discovering the answer.

The Vizxe'pcizi Mo - The vizxe'pcizi mo are a uniqe race of little, soft, squid-like beings native to M'dabei, a semi-jovian world with a dark ammonia ocean beneath the thick atmosphere. Their species managed to gain controll over most other species in the abyssal/benthic ammonia ocean in prehistory. They produce pheramones which make contempory creatures submissive to them. Over time, they bread the myriad species into their own biotechnology, and by the time A.Z., they had established a thriving type II civilization. They are masters of transmutantagenic controll, and may morph themselves into many forms throughout their now long lives. Many subspecies exist on colonized worlds as well.

What look like eyes are acually highly developed pressure receptors. The tentecular mass enables taste, touch, and manipulation. Their real mouths are on their dorsal surface below their pressure receptors. They absorb nutrients directly from the ammonia, and thrive off phormones produced by other creatures. The view (or rather flow) of the universe is highly impressionable and surreal to vizxe'pcizi mo. They are deeply emotional and individualistic as a race and have influenced several other similarly-sensed sophonts.

The X'zxp'qmeao - The x'zcp'qmeao are a race now thriving on a six-planet empire. They have a long history of hardship though, as they were switching between zbgjor'ava and sulamawks as slaves during the ZVS wars. Even after the wars ended, they were taken over again by the iths and were ruled by them for another hundred years before finally being liberated by the SRF (Sophont Rights Federation).

X'zcp'qmeao are quadrulaterally symetrical and think in terms of quadrates. They are naturally curious and their race as a whole feels a great urge to explore. They do one of four things to what they find: take it if it is beneficial, dispose of it if it is wasteful, leave it alone if it is of importance to another, or improve it if it can be better. These make up their basic morals. They possess nine eyes which are most sensitive in the ultraviolet spectrum. Their four liquivorous mouthparts double as reproductive organs. X'zcp'qmeao are omnivorous and can ingest a wide rande of foods. Although they have a complex lateral line system, they have no sense of sonic hearing or taste. Instead, x'zcp'qmeao communicate with microwave transmissions, which work well in their homeworld's dense atmosphere. When on a world with lighter air, they must use microwave-enhancing devices to communicate over distances. When they focus their microwave beams on a single point with sufficient intensity and time, they are able to cook or burn foods, melt metals, and defend against enemies. Much of their technology is based on silks. X'zcp'qmeao possess four large, complex silk glands on their abdomen which are capable of producing 12 individual kinds of silk, and dozens of silk alloys. They manipulate objects with a system a muscles which act as a layer of pseudonodes under their flexible skin. Their entire skin is a manipulative organ which can pinch, ruffle, wrinkle, and 'grasp' objects. The skin patterns indicate their emotions, much like facial expressions. The x'zcp'qmeao possess four genders. Females produce eggs to harbor conception, males produce alpha sperm for triggering the conception process, xemales produce beta sperm for hormonal balance, and gemales pocess a placenta-like organ to shelter the egg as it grows into a new x'zcp'qmeao infant.

One of their most prized properties is their ability to produce pearls. X'zcp'qmeao produce pearls when something like a grain of sand or dust is accidentally absorbed within their mouths. The pearl may take from a few days to a few weeks to form and be expelled from the x'zcp'qmeao's oral cavity. The x'zcp'qmeao see their pearls as waste products of the digestive system and, before first contact, treated them as such. But other species see the beautiful pearls as priceless treasures, which the x'zcp'qmeao see as confusing and amusing. Today, pearl production and sales make up a good chunk of their prosperous economy (not as much as it use to though, since the stock crash and recovery of 1830 A.Z., they have learned to diversify). Many average x'zcp'qmeao citizens contribute to the economic effort by purposely ingesting a few dust grains to make pearls each year.

The Willawons - The willawons evolved on Meiyefa, a world four times earth's size, but there was low gravity due to the planet's slow rotation. It has five moons, a ring, and orbits a rare green star. The willawons breath through a ring of nostrils around the bare ring of skin on their midlines. They have four hearts, a single tubular lung, two stomachs, and two brains at either end of their bodies. The beaked mouth is located at the top of the body. They posses many strong senses. They have four eyes that can see light from infrared to ultraviolet. Smelling tendrils flicker below the eyes and above the tentacle-feet. The tentacle-feet themselves can taste and gaah. Gaah is an alien sense nicknamed "ghost sense" because it uses neutral "ghost particles" to form an "image" of sorts (although it may be closer to smell). The four arms on top of the body have well-developed gaah receptors. There are four kinds of fur on a willawon's body. There is a short fuzz, and long wisps for insulation. Two other kinds are involved in hearing and heming. Willawons perceived two kinds of sound. One fur type is used to pick up sonic waves, aka normal sound (hearing). The other fur type picks up the electromagnetic waves of light and color, and perceives them as sound (heming). Willawons also have two long tentecles coming out of their mid-section. These tentecles are tiped with four manipulating tendrils as well as mouthlets containing nerve-fibers. Willawons connect these fibers with others to create a super-computer out of their minds. This is also how they reproduce. Because of their super-computing abilities, they progressed much quicker than humans ever could have. They have now had a technological civilization for millions of years and are one of the most advanced races.

The Iqua - The Igua race is about 19 million years old, the willawons are 37 million. The Iguas were the first civilization discovered by willawons and since both species are logical super computers, they have lived in peace. Iguas are silicon based sophonts who evolved on the brown dwarf Liese. They stand about three feet tall. Their main sense is thermoreception which is absorbed by the CTIPU (central thermic image processing unit). This structure is held above the body with high magnetic forces and is protected by the cube of silicate glass which surrounds it. Information is passed between the CTIPU and the main body via microwave signals. Iguas move about with 22 wheel-like legs underneath the flap of skin which covers them. The bottom of this flap also contains heat receptors as well as taste buds. Iguas can detect minute chemical patterns as they roll around. The textured skin on their upper torsos contain slight photoreceptors, but these can only make out basic shapes in the infrared spectrum. They are very sensitive to bright light above infrared and must wear blindfolds when in the precense of light. Iguas also pocess a highly sophisticated lateral line sense which surrounds their bodies. Along their midlines, iguas sport a stiff, antenae-like rod which is used to communicate and manipulate. The rod can spin all around the body and point in any direction up, down, or sideways. The rod contains a seris of electromagnets which can be very powerful, and can be rotated within the rod and controlled by electric currents. This allows an igua to manitulate various metallic objects as tools. The rod communicates by transmitting and detecting signals ranging from microwaves to radiowaves. They already had the ability to communicate over long distances by radios, but when Iguas developed transmitter satellites, they now could communicate over their entire home dwarf.

Social dancing is an intricate part of their phycology, however, with each igua expressing details while conforming to the crowd. Iguas technically pocess three genders, but have seven sexes. The genders include males, females, and semales. There are three variations of semales, and two varitions of both males and females. Although each variation performs the same sexual job of their respective genders, each variation differs slightly in their hormonal and physical sexual apparatus. Iguas of differing genders have many choices for their specific type of mate. Iguas may appear to others as tidy, uptight, or perfectionists because they believe in precise measurements of any given medium. Since they perceive radio signals as speech, they say the universe "sings" with all its pulsars, quasars, and radio broadcasts.
