Description
Oooh my my my my my...difficult but nostalgic. You wanna know where I got their designs from?Sneople. XD
I can assure you they're not trying to run the government or anything. In fact, I'd bet the opposite. I'd wager they would be a lot more open about diplomatic dealings, considering how many things in the past have tried to murder them.
BEFORE SCHOOL, HAVE SUM...

MORE FACTS:
- As said before, a Naga can shapeshift. They can shed their skin, to reveal a new form underneath. When this happens, their new skin always feels very glossy and soft, and requires a few hours to be fully solid. A small price to pay for this much freedom over their form.
- However, Nagas that live in Patala often choose to assume a form that appears close to one of the Eight Naga Kings of Patala. They do this out of reverence, and respect to the societal and spiritual duties that they owe their Kings. I.e. a Naga living within the domain of Sankhapala, the Ascetic, will take a serpentine form with a human face, but no arms or legs.
- The most powerful Nagas are those who have been to the bottom of Patala. Within the realm of Naga-loka, where Adi-Shesha herself resides. They have gemstones embedded in their bodies, as they have learned the secrets of dark and holy magic alike. And can focus that into a force to defeat true evil.
- Female Nagas are sometimes referred to as "Nagi", "Nagin", or "Nagini".
- Even after they betrayed Rahab, not all Naga were united in a bid to unite with the other mortal races. Enough evil ones remained to necessitate intervention by the Tarkshya's descendants, the Garuda. An avian race that fervently hunted Sea Serpents and Nagas alike. The Naga and Garuda have shared a bitter rivalry that has just recently developed into mutual attempts to make peace.
- It is said that in return for a chance to redeem themselves of past crimes...the Naga have found a way to help Ziz cultivate new divinities to watch over the world. Through churning the oceans, they have concocted a vital ingredient in the creation of a god: Amrita. The drink of Immortality. Only Vasuki, among the biggest and greatest of all Nagas, has the size and strength necessary to churn it into existence.
Despite this major role...they keep it a secret from the other races.
