SAY AMEN!!! THERE HE GOES AGAIN!!!The return of the king.....it...shall be....GLORIOUS!!!
Now here's a fellow you probably haven't seen in AGES! My very first and most trademark character, King Norbert!! Founder of the Eccentrix. King of the Eccentri-City. The Sovereign of Strange, King of Crazy, Baron of Bizarre, Emperor of the Eccentric. This is the guy who started it all. And the events happened as follows....
- Began as just a regular little dragon whelp over 1000 years ago, living life as an animal hidden from society like the rest of his kin.
- His "unholy" nature almost got him killed, until two mysterious cloaked women declared him to be a creature meant to be preserved, by command of God himself. Note that she's talking to medieval people who were HIGHLY religious.
- In his early 20's, he almost died during a war between the old kingdom's people and an army of heathens, but the wise wizard of the land froze him at the bottom of a mountain. He remained frozen in ice for over 1000 years until the present day.
- He woke up when the mountain was revealed to be a volcano, now made active by Eggman's meddling.
- In order, he banded together with Hawk, Spike, Jacqueline and Doppelganger to become the Founding Five members of the Eccentrix.
- He eventually met 's charrie Morgan La Batte, the very first "recruited" Eccentrix member EVER.
- He soon began making fast friends with people, and then decided to make the Eccentrix a small-time organization that battles evil supernatural forces.
- He left Mobius with all of his members via spaceship, for 10 years to battle the demonic overlord Sargeras, in the 10 Years War.
- He came back by then, his group well known for their deeds of heroism out in space.
- He eventually fought two more supernatural wars. The Second Sargeras Uprising, and the Supernatural Rebellion. The second which destroyed their headquarters entirely.
- He eventually ascended to the heavens to buy property off a deity living in the skies. To buy it, he gave away every gold piece he ever owned from his gold hoard, swore a solemn oath to use this land's gifts to make the ravaged world below more magnificent and brilliant than it has ever been before, and he made a promise to the people of Mobius that he shall carry this deed out. But it depends on them too....and thus, he began recruiting members for the Eccentrix Work Force en masse.
- Now, he is the undisputed King of the Eccentrix, having created an entire civilization from the outcasts of Mobian and Human societies, and with their help, is well on the way to achieving his dream for the future of Mobius.

TRIVIA:
- He is a cryophobic, and has a deep rooted fear of freezing to death.
- He doesn't have any molars, so he can't chew his food at all.
- He has a sword known as the Claymore of Northern Light. He stores it in his mouth and throat so he can use it to boost his firepower.
- He is highly skilled in Fire Magic, Holy Magic, and Soul Magic. These powers come entirely from the light of his own soul, while he uses his sword as a medium.
- He secretly has a harem fetish. XDD

Okay, lemme see if I remember correctly...
Norbert was frozen in the Kingdom of Mercia. The terrain there was basically grassland and woods, which is all outside of a castle. After all, this was during medieval times, and he'd been frozen under a mountain which somehow became a volcano after Dr. Eggman made a base in it.

In this case? Norbert's been solitary for most of his early life since he lived in the wild, and not in the castle. So he hasn't taken any sides, and has just found himself caught in the middle with no way out. Until he was frozen!

*Norbert responds by opening his mouth. And a split second later, the axe was parried in mid-air.
Only then was it revealed that Norbert had in fact used a Golden Claymore sword to parry it, and was currently holding the weapon with his long tongue! Implying that somehow he had the large blade stashed in his throat the whole time.*

Thing is, it's kind of difficult to remember what exactly happened back then, but I like to imagine it got destroyed during a failed attempt of Norbert to fight one of the Primals. Maybe a mountain battle, Norbert tried to attack with holy flame but maybe he got a Molotov thrown into his mouth at high velocity?
Y'know, something to send him plummeting down onto his own base in a ball of fire, and utterly obliterate it. Dunno, just that, and the fact that a lot of supernaturals got displaced due to the war makes them take a step back and think...."We'll need something a little bit bigger".

Ooh now that battle I'd have liked to witness. Seems like he might have encountered the elemental vampire Primal, one of the ones Krystal owns (whose name escapes me T-T)

I think it's Vatani. That vampire echidna who attacks with all four elements. Same one that probably sent Norb crashing down and blowing up his whole base in a brilliant golden explosion.
I didn't actually RP that one, but it still sounds like an awesome way to put Norbert out of commission for the rest of the war!

Heh, true it'd blow the Eccentrix base up, but it would also draw the Resistance to help the displaced Eccentrix... Mostly cuz heading that Norb got hurt so badly would PISS Hope off, so she'd insist. The whole reason she left the base was to keep them from getting sucked into the main part of the fight. The rest of the Resistance would understand that and do their best to help

I kinda figured so! I mean for most of the time, the Eccentrix didn't get sucked into it, until Norbert tried to defend innocent people they were probably about to obliterate. And the fact that they blew up him AND his base for it would probably set them off.
Either way I think that might very well be the point when the Resistance helps them out, mostly when they see that despite being Supernaturals, they don't have a smidgen of evil in them.

Well, might not be innocent people being obliterated (cuz the Primals weren't needlessly cruel all the time... Just to hunters) so it likely would have been dissenters our hunters.
As for the Eccentrix being supes, the main Resistance base is comprised not just of hunters, but a few former cops, an ex hacker, a handful of demons, at least one half blood vampire (who is also a demon hunter), and a lone werewolf. With Hope and her boyfriend vouching for the Eccentrix, they'll be welcomed by the Resistance leaders. Heck, there's even an abandoned hunter base in the mountains that the Eccentrix could probably use until they found a more permanent home.

Whoo!!! I really do feel that it'd be SO nice of them to do that for all the people in the Eccentrix at that time.
By then they'd be just a small organization, so that hunter base would do them good, to sit them over for the moment. Heh, I like to imagine what would happen if years later, the people of the Resistance were invited to Norbert's NEW HQ, which is in fact a whole city of bizarre stuff. Not just supernatural, just weird. XD

Well, the Resistance isn't using it, and tho it isn't exactly a welcoming place, being a hunter base, it's still better than not having any place at all. Ask the Eccentrix would need to do is talk with the Resistance leaders
Ooh that sounds like fun. There'd be a few who would decline the invite, mainly those who are just douchebags, but the rest would be impressed ^_^
