“Ok, um, I’m not gonna remember that”

Shining Armor was born to the Lunacorn, Night Light and his Unicorn partner, Twilight Velvet. Both were ecstatic for their first born child. From a young age, Shining Armor showed great potential, his skills in defense magic proved him to be a formidable foe, additionally he’d excel highly in combat, making him a fierce warrior. After him, his parents had only one other child, his little sister, Twilight Sparkle, future Princess and Alicorn of Friendship.

Like many gifted mages, he was enrolled into the then, Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns, whilst there he was ranked amongst the top of his peers. A year in and he was offered a position as one of three trainees under the Renowned Captain Onyx, the training itself was grueling and exhausting. Fortunately he endured it with the encouragement of his family and companionship of his fellow trainees, Solar Comet and Ivory Spark. Under Captain Onyx’s tutelage, the three surpassed many in their field and gained early acceptance into the Canterlot Guard soon after.

During these events, Shining Armor spent less and less time around his family due to his occupied schedule. After accepting his offer for the Cantelot Guard he was soon moved to Canterlot’s Inner Sanctum, where he would spend four years training and learning side by side with Celestia’s most trusted Guard. His time spent with his family was reduced from a few weekends and holidays to one or two holidays.

Once Shining Armor completes his training, he joined the Canterlot Guard and gradually rose through the ranks. He also had the pleasure of meeting the Prince Blueblood, whom he formed a close friendship, that to this day stands.

Some time after his promotion to Captain of the Guard, he met the delightful Princess Rosa Mi Amore Cadenza, niece to Celestia and sorta cousin to his friend Blueblood. Of course with his awkward flirting and hoof tripping, he won her heart. He guessed a large wedding would be held, considering Cadence’s status, what he didn’t expect was a Changeling Invasion or the reappearance of a lost Empire some months later. Nor did he expect becoming a King consort either or fathering an Alicorn. He least expected becoming an Alicorn himself, but hey, what can you do?

Presently, Shining Armor is the father of two wonderful children, Florencia Mi Amore Caro Azura and Aphrodite Mi Amore Angelo or Flurry Heart Andy Aphrodite for short. He is happily married to the love of his life. Shining Armor is a goofball, his children have him wrapped around their hooves and they know it. He is a kind hearted king and wonderful husband.

Hey friends, so here’s my version of Shining Armor, personal opinion I think the show could have used male Alicorns and Shining Armor should’ve been one of them. To me, he’s a sweetheart who’s pretty packed in magic and muscle so it kinda makes sense that he becomes an Alicorn. Also cause I love him and Twilight’s sibling dynamic and the thought of Shining Armor learning to fly cracks me up.
