Daoini children are rare, averaging less than two children per couple, spread over a millennia, their population has been in significant decline relative to other races, even their descendants, the elves. As such, every child born is celebrated, but often grows up alone, even in larger cities. Tialah was fortunate, as a Daoini was born only a few years after her, and they were inseparable companions for much of their early lives.

Siathá Ta'ghdir was an energetic and vibrant young Daioni, deeply curious and an adept explorer and hunter. While she possessed little magical skill, she was a talented fighter, agile and athletic. Her preferred weapon was the bow, but she was equally skilled in blades and thrown weapons. When Tialah and Master Crói'lán travelled to Terheld she accompanied them and indeed formed a small adventuring party with Tialah, which for a few years explored old ruins along the coast.

Here we find her in the midst of a mock battle with Tialah, as they practice their respective crafts.

New character! Still exploring Tialah’s early years, and trying to get a better sense of who she was before everything fell apart. I have a few more renders in this scene to do, I think.

I both love and hate dForce at times. I spent a good hour making this dress work, as it was a converted G3 dress. I had to reimport the mesh twice, in fact. The results were worth the effort though. I don’t know how anyone managed skirt or dress draping before it was available. Painstaking work otherwise I suspect.

This has a little bit of postwork, tightening the lighting curves and adding a (masked) movement blur.
