Another random post, just chasing an image in my head. I struggled with two aspects of this render (not counting vRAM which is generally a given): First, the cloak just refused to simulate the way I wanted, I had to resort to creative simulations. Second, I could not find hair that I liked. This was the best of the compromises, and I am still not 100% happy with it.
