"Let's start from here. From the beginning... no, from Zero!"I would appreciate if I could get some constructive feedback on this piece. This is my second attempt at drawing two characters together. I think I still need to work on the hands. I used a different shading technique over what I did with Idol Asuna which was very soft shadows. This one has a more 'anime' shade. I picked the background because I wanted to have a light source from behind so I could get some darker shadows in front. Not very happy with how the sun turned out and I couldn't figure out how to make glow better. If anyone have any tips or know of any tutorials please let me know. I experimented with a few glow techniques but it didn't turn out very well. I do like how this turned out and I think I captured the essence of the two characters in this scene.

This piece immediately stood out to me from the other submissions because of the great use of colors^^ You said that you wanted some constructive feedback in the comments and i thought I'd try to give you some, even though I probably don't know much more about art either^^ Also i want to say that I really like the two of them together, even though he rejected her so bluntly, but i ship them anyway and I want the two of them to be a happy couple 
Other than that i think your piece is very well drawn and i can only agree that you did capture the essence of the couple

So let me first say that I adore this picture.
You said in your description that you wanted constructive feedback~
So, I'm not exactly sure what it is, but my eye keeps getting drawn to the sunset, as if it's the main feature of the piece, but I know it's not. I should be focusing on the couple (which are AMAZINGLY drawn by the way!), but the sun is really distracting.
The only issue with the couple that I have is his hand (the one next to the sun). I know you said you think you still need to work on hands. So here, I would say the shading should be in between his fingers, right now his hand is shaded like it's a lump, not a hand. Try shading each finger individually, and try practising your hand anatomy by drawing from life or photos of hands. Also, try changing the colour of your lineart in certain places, like with the hand. If you make the lineart two or three shades darker than the colour of their skin in that area, or lighter (might help with the glow?) it could help.
But after all that, my opinion on this piece won't chsnge~ this picture is beautifully illustrated. The lighting really adds to the mood, and their outfits are so intricate! One thing in particular that really catches my eye is the sakura hairpiece she's wearing, it adds a nice touch to the aesthetics, again to the mood, and a little insight into her personality. There are so many good things about this picture that it would take at least two pages to list them.

I think the sun should be more yellowish though, or even red, because that is what it looks like in reality when it's as deep on the horizon as in your piece.

The anime name is Re:Zero. Subaru has an ability that is triggered when he dies and travels back in time with the memories of that time line with him.
