I'm sure that title will throw people for a loop, so here's the Too Long, Didn't Read of it.The Elements of Insanity and Elements of Disturbia are being put on extended hiatus.
This decision has stemmed from a number of things. But the two things that stand out the most would be:
1) A recent journal from WhiteSkyPony calling out those using his source files to make more EoI stuff. Was kinda embarrassed that my shitty band of recolors were being plastered onto the work/resources of one of the more respected modelers around here (besides BeardedDoomGuy , I mean). I know he said it wasn't exactly my fault, but I digress.
And 2) People constantly getting on my friend IncoheriantChipmunk 's case about how his EoD are a ripoff of the EoI. News flash, geniuses. We both acknowledge that, and yet, I'm still okay with it. I'm not okay with people constantly telling Chip on TF2/Gmod/wherever that I hate him and his creations and such and such. It is not true at all, and I don't appreciate people spreading lies.
So I'm going to finish my current EoI video project with Rainbine and the current crossover arc I've got going on with Skellington16 on the EoI Tumblr, and then I'm going to be taking a long, long break from this band of freaks.
I've honestly just had enough, and I'm pretty sure a ton of people I know could agree with me.
So until then, you'll hear no more from the EoI or EoD. And that's that.

TIShadster, if you are really going to put your own pony freak creations, the EOI, out of their misery, it's absolutely, positively, fine. A tf2 freak made by , named "Sword Scout", wanted to kill the EOI for the will of vengeance. However, my freak, Mateon Divinatus, wanted to end the EOI, along with Painset, Magic Mare, and even a silouhetted EQG/pony version of Fiametta, for they have become part of the Most Wanted: Dead or Alive bounties of the Gmod and Sfm universes.

No no no! Shads is NOT ending his work with EoI and EoD. He's just gotten so many messages pushing him to work faster, that he's gotten pissed off and is putting the project on an extended hiatus. This is most likely to silence all of the eight-year old retards who are asking for too much of him. He's not a machine, he's a human being, and as humans, we all need our time away from working on such big projects.

as a fan of the EoI, I cannot blame T.I.Shadow for making that decision. I see what makes the EoI so appealing and celebrated, and how like other things in the fandom have gone, would drive out the ugly side of praise of worship; in fact, I'm willing to admit that the EoI was one of the main reasons why I was drawn into the fandom in the first place. however, I'm not someone who would want to pester the creator in churning out project after project as quickly as possible, because that detracts from the creator's enjoyment for what he makes and the drive to make more. patience is a virtue being left for dead, and is set to a great example here, in my perspective at least. just watching how fans act to what they want and how impatient or rude they can be just sets a sour note to a great thing, and it's a shame for things to come to such a point.
I guess what I want to say is that as much as I love the Elements of Insanity, I don't want to demand so much or drive T.I.Shadow to make more against his own wishes. it may not be for a while until the project is taken back up, if he chooses to, but I just hold onto the patience and hope that somewhere down the road, he chooses to return to it, and I look forward to see whatever projects he'll continue creating. I'll always be a fan of what he's done, including for projects outside of Insanity, but the bottom line is I'd rather see more great works from someone who's willing to do it, not put in a corner to do so.
Shadow, you deserve a break, but your work, regardless of subject, is always awesome. thanks for what you've done, and I wait with eagerness and patience on what you'll put out next. (but just one thing: don't put anything out unless YOU feel good with it)
