I think I've heard about that once before but didn't remember it properly anymore ^^ It's a really nice one, showing very well how cultures get mingled (by the way, french fries weren't actually made in France first either, from what I heard it's from belgium but here in belgium there is a french-alking area and a dutch-tlking area (and a smaller german-talking one) and therefore they got the name french fries mistakenly . ^^ Not 100% sure if t's true though
