Description
Commission for a friend's wife as a Christmas present. For my first dog, I think he turned out quite well!
Acrylic and oil on board, about A4.

He looks kind of angry. I feel guilty when I look at him, like he is going to attack me for stealing his bone or something. lol.
Great job on the nose and the fur is really good! I LOVE chocolate labs, being the proud owner of a female chocolate lab myself. (She's a wimp though. On a walk we got chased by a cat because she was afraid of it. Then we got chased by a fat pug dog because she was afraid of that too)

Charlie is a big bear and as thick as two short planks. He does have a judgemental look in his eye, though, but otherwise v.v. lovable and such a character!
