That's wonderful, and I understand what you're saying about "snapshot." When maritime artist Ken Marschall presented his first Titanic painting to an art show, the judges rejected his entry, stating that it looked "too real" and therefore not art. Instead of letting this put him down, it only made young Ken more determined, and look where that has gotten him today: him making the best Titanic illustrations the world would ever know. I could just imagine the looks on those judges' faces when they found out that it IS art!

I love this a lot. She was the choosen ship among all ships to be the greatest.
Although, in a book I have, it said how the Titanic had gotten attention from the Californian. But that ship didn't do anything since they thought the Titanic's crew was cellebrating. And so, AFTER the Titanic sank, THAT'S WHEN THEY DECIDED TO CARE. Ah, well.

i hate it when DA do that... because what if u think it does belong in a certain category, or u actually want the piece to be in your gallery its silly. But I couldn't be bothered to complain to them about it so I just left it.
