Forgot to tell my followers that I graduated with honors from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
My how 4 years flew by so quickly. I’m so blessed and thankful that I went to SCAD. The people I met there changed me and made me stronger as individual and an artist. I learned to have confidence in myself and as well in my artwork. There was happiness throughout my journey and sorrow, especially losing both of my grandfathers though out that time. I’ll probably miss my professors the most. They helped broaden my horizons and helped me grow as an artist and an animator. I’ll miss the deep and meaningful conversations we had or just simply saying hello and catching up in the hallway. My friends there taught me what true friendship is. In my heart I hope some day in the future we will be together again and have all kind of fun shenanigans like we did at our animation building. I’m so thankful to have known such an awesome group of wonderful, funny, and talented people.
And now to finish my college reflection with my senior quote from high school (with some minor tweaks)….*ahem* “To the class of 2014, ‘Make each day count.’ If you need me, I’ll be drawing in (insert place/state/country here) with my corgis.” Some things I guess never change!
(PS- My high school self is bit tanner because I was a softball player. Where my college self is a wee bit pale because of the lack of windows in my Animation building. Also my senior film kept me from going outside. lol)
