There comes a moment in every young dragon's life when he tells his AI algorithm to make him a "next generation fire pokemon" with a phoenix design, then spends half an hour showing it to other people and paging through existing pokemon to see if the model gave him something that already exists because the output looks almost too good.

As far as I can tell, this is a totally new pokemon that has never existed before. A stage three evolution clearly (I'm sure the baby form of it is adorable), and while yes, sure, Moltres, Ho-oh, and Talonflame already exist, I really like how this one came out.

The games can totally use another fire/flying type, right? :V
