Okay, no, this is actually just me having fun with MidJourney. It turns out that you can tell MidJourney to create a screenshot from an anime and get something that looks very much like one - even when that anime doesn't exist.
This can lead to some pretty wild images, like this anthropomorphic Dalmatian cyborg in the style of Ghost in the Shell.
People are having lots of fun with this, and I already know of several people who are making collections of screenshots from "anime" shows that have never actually existed. I'm very excited to see what people come up with!
