Description
The graduates of the Academy are skilled at both magic and swordplay, able to shield others at a distance, to teleport, to perform magic rituals and use spells in close-quarter combat, and to be all-around skilled, intelligent warriors and tacticians. Highly desirable as officers, bodyguards, and guardsmen, those who do not already have a title of nobility to inherit will often find themselves in a good position in society regardless.

Every once in a while, a mercenary will try to pass themselves off as a graduate, but rarely is it the case. But that doesn't stop some people from spending far too much money hiring people who can cast spells on their swords.
