Description
This is to give an basic clue as to what it is I have been up to for the past months or so. These are not all the enemies we've made thus far, not even close, but I thought all these monsters would be a good showcase of what this mod of ours is gonna look like. This is essentially another sprite sheet of ONCE AGAIN EVEN MORE "MORE" new enemies for the Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth (or more specifically the Afterbirth+ DLC coming out some time soon).Now just as a reminder to anyone who saw my journal entry about making a huge mod (and currently made a slightly smaller mod as a side thing), this mod is in collaboration with another person, NamelessGummyCat, or Alex as he prefers, so some of these monsters were designed by him. I'll tell you which ones were done by him and which were done by me further on in this description. I don't want to spoil too much and ruin a massive chunk of the surprise but here are some basic descriptions for the very monsters you see before you.
1.) Chum.
Starting at the top left corner is this grotesque mound of strange corrupted flesh and plant-like orifices. At the moment we've decided that the Chum would slide around, hiding under it's shell-like cap. It attacks by either shooting/spraying something from it's upper orifices or by spitting (perhaps) creep from it's mouth which the majority of is obscured in the dark. This was primarily my design but I did take inspiration from "BogLeech" who is a pretty good artist at making incredibly twsited monsters.
2.) Dark Matter.
The evolved Black Maw next to Chum is Alex's design. These big daddies act kinda like normal Black Maws but I believe they spit explosives and split into two Black Maws upon death... yep, prey you don't find too many of these guys when traversing Sheol and the Dark Room.
3.) Dust Bunny.
And next to the mighty powerful Dark Matter is a new Oob variant, the Dust Bunny, made by me. The Dust Bunny acts identical to Oobs but charges vertically instead of horizontally and summons Tumours instead of Brains. This makes it the only enemy that will do an off-screen charge vertically.
4.) HUNGRYGAN!
Below the Chum and Dark Matter is this monstrous menace that inhabits only the darkest and suffocatingly evil. Made by me also, these Mulligans have mysteriously tired out their fear and are left with blood lusty minds which spring into action upon either venturing too close or attacking them. Hungrygans become faster the more damage they take and spawn Large Attack Flies upon death.
5.) Missing Link.
(Next to the Hungrygan) One of my more proud creations, the Missing Link is an armless, all most entirely harmless monster that appears in Chapters 3-4. Missing Links share similarity in behaviour to Doples in that their movement is based around the player's own. However, instead of mirroring Isaac's movement, they perfectly copy it. Example: if Isaac goes left, all Missing Links in the room will go left. To top it off, they are the only monster who can press buttons and so they more puzzle based enemies than ones made for fighting. Also they can't fire tears.
6.) Raiser.
Now at the heart of the sprite sheet, the middle, is this slender monstrosity that will tear a lot of holes through you if you're not cautious. The Raiser was designed by Alex. It floats randomly around the room, flailing it's freakish many limbs about. It attacks by either spewing out dozens of gravity-effected blood shots in all directions which also orbit around the Raiser like "Tiny Planet" as they travel out. A slightly rarer attack kinda gives this monster it's name, it 'raises' one of it's arms at Isaac and summons retractable spikes where he is, requiring immediate movement to dodge (or flight).
7.) Skin Burster.
Another one from Alex, the Skin Burster is definitely one of the more horrific monsters he's made. Taking up the majority of the right part of the sheet you'll find this huge lumbering fiend which inhabits the Womb, primarily the Scarred Womb. It 'bursts' from the 'skin' of the floor, and emerges partially from the hole it's created. Once then it spits out a huge cluster of projectiles. So far that's the attack we've given him at least.
8.) Rotten Corpse.
Located below the Skin Burster. This is actually made by a third party member, CheeselessDorito, or Ronin. We feel that the Rotten Corpse should be completely static and attack only be spawning mass amount of Flies and Poop themed enemies like Dips. Upon death it could maybe spawn a Maggot or Charger. In rooms containing watery floors like the Flooded Caves and occasionally the Scarred Womb, Rotten Corpses actually have the ability to gently drift around as if being carried by water currents.

9.) Wooden Horseman.
This is one of my designs and is an elite version of the enemy you see next to it. We're planning on having a torture chamber-like dungeon level in our mod so tortured enemies will be plentiful. And what can seem more tortured than a person wearing a Bridle Scold and Iron Boots while riding a Wooden Horse device. Wooden Horsemen float around the room, every now and then shooting 4 large nail projectiles in cardinal directions which burst into 8 smaller, but much faster moving, nail projectiles after travelling a short distance. They also have the ability to dash towards the player. Upon death they dismount and continue attacking the player as the following...
10.) Scold.
A dismounted Wooden Horseman that attacks by standing still and shooting nail projectiles at the player every 1/2 second. If the player gets too close then they'll stop shooting and flee in tears until they are at a safe distance once again and start attacking as usual.
11.) Zombie FrogBoy.
A parody name of the Zombie PigMan from Minecraft. Found in Chapter 2, they bound around the room randomly three times before attacking in one of the following two ways:
i - shoots a long stretchy tongue at the player to real him closer or into hazards.
ii - spits two bone attacks in a Fat Fly behaviours (meaning they can dodged by standing still) followed by a faster moving single blood shot which must by dodged by moving out of the way.
12.) Bloodloss Lord.
An all fearful sentinel that patrols Sheol and it's depths. Made by me, these pure embodiments of terror have the ability to turn Isaac's own tears hostile, so shooting while he's inflicting you will just damage you and nothing else. Bloodloss Lords also have the ability to sap at your red hearts if you get too close to them.
13.) Merciless.
Another spawn of Sheol which was designed by me. These horrors morph their faces into either Isaac's head or a blue mouth with jagged teeth. Their attacks vary depending on what face they change into. Their true form resembles an leafless tree-like monster with a demonic eye as it's guide.
14.) Butch.
And finally we have Butch, made by Alex. Butches are found mostly in Chapter 3 and appear to have many abilities revolving around inhaling. They pace towards Isaac to deal contact damage, while having a constant suction effect similar to Gaping Maws. Attacking them with tears during this does not damage them but instead enables them to breath in the tears in the bottom larger mouth and then rapidly spit them back out seconds later through the upper smaller mouth to damage Isaac instead. To kill Butches, you just have to not attack them for a while and eventually they'll tire out like Gemini. While they're catching their breathe they can be hurt and there-for slain.
So yeah, here is a basic image as to what our mod will look like. This is some stuff that is better than what's displayed here but of coarse I feel that it should be saved for the big release. EDIT: The mod was cancelled ): This is mostly because we ended up adding too much, the Afterbirth +'s modding tools are crap and so we just couldn't handle it. RIP
