My half of an art trade with . I kind of went into detail on his costume...I hope you don't mind! And I also gave him a magey-staff!
Yes, I know his arms are LONG, but, having studied my FF-9 art book, they're supposed to be long. I think I want to make a mage character of my own, now...x.x Eh, probably will procrastinate to the point of not wanting to anymore. XDD
Anyway, in the background is a pie, some lemons, and a fish for good measure.
I should have added beef in there...but, how the hell do you draw beef? o.oAlso...I apologize for the craptacular coloring...my tablet is dying, maybe...or else it's because my computer is super-lagging and I need to run a scandisk. =\
Drawin with a ticonderoga 2 pencil, inked with Sakura Micron pens, scanned in, and colored with openCanvas3.03EPLUS!, and the background was added with Photoshop 7.0. Stripes and spots brushes used in the background (You can hardly see them) were created by .

Oh how fun. A black mage! I like how even with just two glowing eyes and none of the rest of the face, you can make him look kind of dangerous, as if you don't want to mess with him. GREAT work on the shoes! And the overall coloring is very nice!

Hmm... it's about the bg, the "scanlines" there kinda hurts my eyes (it's creating an optical illusion.) you should make it thinner/smaller like this one .
But all in all, it's good! just make the scanlines smaller. ^_^

wow a black mage with dingo balls on its hat. i like it but the background make my eyes burn for some reason and i think if i look at it any longer i might get epileptic seisures..... but i like it dont get me wrong
