Description

First raid of the Eye of Azshara expansion. Includes floors 1 and 2. This is a 10 boss raid. Located in Kezan.

Lore: The power mad gnomes of the Crankspark Company defected from the ranks of the Alliance due to philosophical differences. Now Boss Crankspark labors tirelessly with his army of mad scientists to create an iron-bound legion worthy of the Highborne Queen. The Crankspark Gearworks represents the foremost threat to the safety of Kezan. The company has proven itself ruthless by wringing Kezan of all resources, life, and hope.

=Floor 1: The Machinist's Cleft=

======================================X==============================================

I. Danjak the Junker @ Danjak's Scrapyard: Goblins are allowed among the ranks but not well-liked. As such, the brilliant inventor Danjak's talents were put to use in the junkyard. He has taken it upon himself to create new weapons from his constant income of scrap.

    *[Junk]: Danjak has a junk meter that starts at 100. He can hold up to 200 junk. Danjak uses Junk to power his abilities.

    *[Scrap Toss]: Danjak balls up 5 Junk into a projectile. He tosses out a ball of scrap. All players hit by Scrap Toss take 200,000 damage and take the debuff [Tetanus].
        *[Tetanus]: Player speed is slowed by 50%. Deals 50,000 damage every second for 10 seconds.

    *[Junk Meteor]: Danjak balls up 25 Junk into a massive projectile. He tosses the scrap meteor into the air. The meteor will slam back down 4 seconds later, dealing 500,000 damage to all players inside the 20 yard impact zone.

    *[Scrapbot]: Danjak uses 100 scrap to construct a junk mech. He will deal 200% damage with 50% reduced attack speed while inside a Scrapbot. The Scrapbot persists until destroyed. Danjak cannot be directly damaged while inside a Scrapbot.

    A. Garbage Wights: Horrific, mangled humanoids rise from the scrap piles in the yard.
        *[Noxious Blast]: The wight vomits violently, sending forth a line of poisonous sludge.
        *[Burst]: At 10% HP, the wight explodes, dealing 700,000 damage to all players within 5 yards of the wight when it dies.

======================================X==============================================

II. Mekgineer Boomclap @ The Steamvault: A master of explosive tech. Uses the Steamvault to boil intruders.

*[Steam Blast]: A stream of scalding steam is blasted out of all pipes in the Steamvault. Contact with Scalding Steam deals 75,000 damage per second.

*[Mythic: Exhaust Fumes]: Boomclap reroutes the ventilation systems to unleash noxious gas from the Steam Pipes. The fumes will be present for the entire encounter and will slowly engulf the entire Steamvault, almost certainly wiping the raid.

*[Pressurized Charge]: Boomclap will periodically place explosives on the ground. When the Steamvault pipes suck up steam after a [Steam Blast], these charges will explode.

*[Spidermech 9000]: At 75%, Boomclap will deploy and enter a massive spider mech.

III. Corborath @ Cavernous Sinkhole (North Room): A massive gyre worm alpha that was stirred by the Crankspark mining operations.

*[Rockspined]: Corborath's spinal rocks all have their own HP. Only by killing all of Corborath's spinal rocks will it finally be defeated.

*[Dark Forces]: Corborath has loosed dark entities from the deep earth beneath Kezan.
    *[Chitinous Dreadflail]: large tentacle creatures that deal deadly area-of-effect damage.
    *[Shadowborn Defiler]: Faceless ones that spray black ink that adheres to the ground and spreads slowly. Players caught in Black Pools will take 100,000 shadow damage per second.
    *[Ancient Berserker]: Faceless general mobs that charge through the raid and slam the ground for massive damage.

*[Rumbling Heart of Corborath]: Corborath's stone heart beats tumultuously, periodically sending shockwaves out in a semi-circle in front of the boss.

======================================X==============================================

IV. The Facilitator @ Dais of Ingenuity (South Room): A hyper-powered construct piloted by Mekgineer Gordo.

*[Laser Barrage]: The Facilitator will begin firing lethal laser beams in 1 of 3 random patterns.

*[Project: Doomsday]: The Facilitator prepares a devastating laser beam attack. After channeling for 3 seconds The Facilitator will spin in place, firing lethal beams in all directions. A safe zone will be indicated before the channel is complete. All players outside the safezone will take massive damage without personal cooldowns.

A. Mekgineer Gordo: The pilot of the Facilitator. He will attack on foot until he reaches 90% HP. At this stage the Facilitator will drop from the ceiling, killing any players it lands on.

=Floor 2: The Forgemaster's Cleft=

======================================X==============================================

V. Rogal the Fleshbinder @ Rogal's Mainframe (West Room): A gnomish "scientist" and necromancer. Responsible for the creation of Gregor. A self-described "miracle worker".

"Ah yes! Another meat delivery. Oh wait...these ones are still moving! I'll have to fix that right away!"

"Agh! Gregor will deal...with you...ungh!"

*The Black Lab can only be accessed with [Rogal's Keycard].

======================================X==============================================

VI. Gregor @ The Dark Lab (East Room): A massive amalgam of corpses created by a madman.
    *[Heavy Handed]: Gregor's auto attacks cleave to the next closest target. If no targets are in range he attacks his one target for double damage.

    *[Cleaving Bleed]: All targets hit by Gregor's heavy handed auto attacks also take a [Pulmonary Explosion] debuff.
        *[Pulmonary Explosion]: Deals 80k per tick. The final tick of this debuff does double damage.

    *[Stamp of the Damned]: Gregor stamps the ground, expelling a shadow debuff to 5 random players. This debuff doubles the damage per tick caused by [Pulmonary Explosion].

    *[Golem of Corpses]: Gregor is comprised of rotting corpses. Every 10% damage Gregor takes, 2 [Flesh Globules] are expelled from his body. Each of these Globules contain 2.5% of Gregor's HP. If they reach Gregor they will heal him back up for 2.5% per Globule. Gregor becomes lighter and gains 5% attack speed every time he expells [Flesh Globules].

*When Gregor dies he will blindly run for his master, crashing through the fortified door to the Fuelrod Foundry.

"Master, these welps are too strong! They have blinded me! Master! Master! Massssss.....ter....."

======================================X==============================================

VII. Rattigon @ Duct Nexus: A massive bipedal rat creature that has been spoon fed elixirs and toxic runoff by Rogal since infancy. As such, it has transformed from a once normal rat into a terrifying, blight-ridden predator. It's a game of hunt or be hunted as you traverse the cramped corridors of the Duct Nexus.

Pest Control Specialist yells: "Hurry up you goons! The boss wants this rat snuffed out!"
Rattigon yells: "Raagghhh....flesh...yes..."
Pest Control Specialist yells: "Ah, get it off me! Ahhhhh!"
Rattigon yells: "Tasty...must have more!"

*[Darkdash]: Rattigon sprints forward rapidly, slashing wildly and expelling shadow magic for 50 yds. All players caught in his flurry of strikes are killed instantly.

*[Noxious Gas]: The vents are slowly being filled with lethal gas by Boss Crankspark. Once the gas begins accumulating on the floor it will begin spawning [Noxious Pools] which will eventually spread throughout the entire shaft system.

*[Rabid]: Rattigon does 25% more damage while he is standing still. This buff is lost when he moves for 5 consecutive seconds.

*[Rendclaw Slash]: Rattigon unleashes a vicious slash in a semi-circle in front of him. This places a bleed on all targets hit. Damage per tick is split between the effected players. Deals 2,000,000 per tick.

*[Ravenous Speed]: Rattigon will occasionally increase his movement speed by 50%. This boost can be mitigated by slows and stuns.

*[Brood Mother]: These adds will spawn at random junctions within the nexus. While they are alive they cast [Rabid Birthing].
    *[Rabid Birthing]: Summons 10 Rabid Rats.
        *[Rabies]: Getting bit by a Rabid Rat results in this ticking DoT. Also increases damage dealt and damage taken by 35% for the duration of the spell.

A. Crankspark Pest Control Specialists: The vents are filled with patrols of gnomish exterminators. They will attack Rattigon and the raid.
*[Fumigate]: The Specialist will target Rattigon and fire out a wave of gas in his direction. This will do extreme nature damage to Rattigon and all players caught in the blast. 2 sec cast.
*[X-Ray Beam]: Pest Control Specialists drop these. Picking one of them up enables the player to target, shoot, heal or cast through walls for 1 min. 1 per patrol.

B. Ventbots: Small janitorial robots under the control of the Crankspark Pest Control Specialists.
*[Cleanup Protocol]: Ventbots will soak up any [Noxious Pools] they come into contact with.
*[Clogged]: After a Ventbot has soaked 4 bile pools, it will explode violently, dealing 400,000 nature damage to all players within 10 yards of the blast.

*Upon death, Rattigon will drop [Assistant's Bilesoaked Keycard]. Using this at Rogal's terminal will stop the exhaust pipes blocking access to the Forgemaster's Cleft with their lethal fume clouds.

======================================X==============================================

VIII. Forgemaster Trodak @ Fuelrod Foundry: The Crankspark Company was initially reticent about recruiting an ettin, given their violent reputation. However, Trodak's skills in forging and assembling massive shells proved invaluable to the Company in their ongoing invasion of Kezan.

*When Trodak dies, his forge will power down, retracting the fuel rod blocking access to the Forgemaster's Cleft.
