Sideswipe is one of the fastest and deadliest warriors to ever fight for the autobot cause. Before this, in his early days, he was a loyal warrior to Megatron, fighting under his military as a loyal soldier. With this occupation, he grew extremely close alongside his best friend Ironhide. For both of them fought together and accepted each other as brothers. Sideswipe is extremely well known for his high agility in combat. Though despite his small and brittle stature compared to bigger Cybertronians such as Optimus or Megatron, he makes up for this with extreme skills in evasion, and bringing down the largest of Cybertrons warriors to their knees. He assisted Optimus and Megatron in the discovery of the Allspark, of which grew loyal to Optimus alongside his brother-in-arms, Ironhide. Though during the war, Sideswipe saw it fit to join the Autobot cause and bring balance to Cybertron, instead of joining the Decepticons.

After the battle on Earth, where the Autobots claimed the Allspark, Sideswipe alongside a few other Autobots travelled to Earth to rendezvous with the Autobots in their new home. In order to ensure that the Allspark is protected, once the Decepticons make their second coming.
