Description
Yes, a fan art. I'm a big fan of A Song of Ice and Fire, and this, long ago before the show has been out. I've read them all. And I tried to make this drawing a year ago. It was so horrible I stocked it somewhere and forgot it.So when I found it back... I tried once again. And I'm pretty satisfied with this one.
This is something I made after reading A Dance With Dragons. So, if you didn't read the book, you shouldn't read what's coming next.

We heard that Daenerys needed two other riders for her dragons, like Aegon the Conqueror. These heads had to be from the Targaryen blood (I prefer it this way). So here it is, my version of the end of the story, Daenerys on her throne with her two husbands : Aegon, her nephew, son of Rhaegar and Elia of Dorne and still alive, and Jon Snow, her unknown bastard nephew, son of Rhaegar and Lyanna Stark.
Yes, this is based on a lot of suppositions and Georges RR Martin told the other two heads didn't have to be Targaryen. But I like it this way!

Nice, but I think 'Aegon' is not going to turn out to be an actual Targaryen. He's with the Golden Company which was founded by a Blackfyre to put a Blackfyre on the throne. Also Dany was warned to beware the paper dragon... of Mummer's dragon... can't remember which that is.

The quote doesn't explicitly state that Aegon is a fake, but I believe it is very possible regardless. Since Daenerys' character was outlined based on Henry Tudor (Henry VII of England), it's plausible that Aegon could be a stand in for the false pretenders; Perkin Warbeck (who pretended to be Richard, Duke of Salsbury, one of the "Princes in the Tower") or Lambert Simnel (who was raised to believe he was Edward, Earl of Warwick, the nephew of Edward IV).
Also Illyrio said this:
"Black or red, a dragon is still a dragon." - (Tyrion II, ADWD)
So even if he's (most probably) a fake, he is still qualified to be an official head as long as he is at least descended from the Targaryens.

Yes, IF he is an actual Targaryen. I think at best he's a Blackfyre, not an actual Targaryen. While as Tyrion says 'A dragon is still a dragon.' the red or black differentiation goes back to the Blackfyre rebellions. They are a cadet house, but still a different house. Just like how a Karstark would not fulfill the "There must always be a Stark in Winterfell" criteria. They are a cadet house, but are not of the direct bloodline of the main house and are thus not able to validly take over the holdings of the main house unless by marriage. That's why I think they're trying to hard of have him wed Dany, that way they can finally seat a Blackfyre on the Targaryen throne.

Yeah, that's right... But on the contrary to what the show made him (a kind-hearted man), I never really got attached to Stannis in the books... And I'm so sure he's not Azor Ahai that I think he's gonna disapear before the ending. But that's just an opinion ^^ This drawing is just how I dream the series to end, even though I'm totally sure GRR Martin has a lot of surprises in reserve for us!

True. Although I believe he'll be reborn as Azhor Azhai. I just like people to acknowledge that he really did die, because a lot of people like to think it was just a trick ending and he was only injured.

Yep, I fear that Mr Martin will try to create the surprise and this composition is already too much known... Plus, he said that the other heads didn't have to be Targaryens... sob

Aaah, true, I took it for granted... Sure that one shouldn't forget about how people are twisted in these books (never trust Littlefinger!), but this is why we love it so much!
