Description Just a simple test of a new model and more animation practice. Tried working with particles some more, getting the hang of it.

1. This is basically just a Thumper from HL2.
2. What program do you use to create these models?
3. Have you ever thought of using any other color pallette?
4. How did you direct the particles to only go to the sides?

Is actually more based off of the Mass Extractors from SC1/FA, specifically the Cybran and Aeon ones.
Built in MC and imported as schematics, modified from there.
The color palette I'm using is sort of becoming the factional color scheme of the soon-to-be-formed IIF and FVT. More on those later.
Have a very flat and wide bounding box for particles, and have high X+Z speeds, -400 - 400.

The last bit doesn't really explain a lot when I look at the particle creator, I can't even see any x or y speeds. I can only scale the box.

You have to select the specific particle from the list under all that in the editor.

The only attribute is the attractor. There is no scaling nor particle speeds.

You have to use the particle editor. Click on the emitter in the library and the editor button should be underneath.

I can see that now. Why is it in such an obscure corner of the editor? Why can't it just be in the object properties?
