Took me 5 hours to model these up. Still UV mapping and texturing left. This is to be put in my 40k prop library, and probably be used in the background somewhere. It would be nice to make a chimaera chassis too, in wich case I'll have a flak tank and a manticore (although the Forgeworld style) tank too
And if I make a chimaera chassis I will of course make all the guns to convert it to a banewolf, devil dog and hellhound, as well as the standard multi-laser You might notice the odd things at the end of the Hydra Platform's cannons, those are supposed to be there for the time being, I'll delete those later. They are simply there to give me positions for holes when I get to the texturing stage!

Hey there, I apologize for asking out of the blue, but would it be too much trouble for me to get a copy of these models for 3D printing purposes? They have been discontinued as models for the Imperial Guard but I would still love to use them in the game, since they still have valid rules. Thank you very much.

Im sorry to hear that they are out of production, but preparing this model for 3D printing would be a bit of a process, and I really don't have time for things like that. I'd recommend scratch-building one, since the basic shape is quite simple, adding imperial tank parts to it, sensors and whatnot, and then make a mold out of it, so you can cast as many as you want.

I apologize, I didn't mean to insinuate that I wanted you to create a model capable of being 3D printed for me. I just was asking whether I could possibly get the 3D files so I could do it myself. I apologize again for coming off as rude.

I didn't see your question as rude - and I'm genuinely sorry I don't have time to help out with preparing the model. However, as you just said you'd be willing to do the preparations yourself I see no harm in sending you the 3D model - provided you'll send me a picture of the finished product! Just send me your email adress via a PM and I'll send you a .OBJ file.

Wow, 5 hours! Very nice. Can we get a wireframe shot? I'm curious as to your polyflow and count. Are these built to smooth or are they you're low poly ones?
