Description
Story: Noah's anxious about the battle, and as soon as it starts he recklessly tries to do more than he's able to by splitting a shallow part of the lake and blocking Joan off from the battle (which was his strategy). He is slowly losing control as the water's pressure builds and the dream world tries to revert back to its original state. At the sight of fire (something he is terribly afraid of) he completely shuts down and the water ends up pushing him to the deeper part of the lake. Both of the Scrafty's get lost in the torrent of water, causing for a tie in their battle. Saturn beats Raf because of her advantage with the water. Evidently, Clover loses the last battle and Noah wakes up coughing and spluttering.

Why I drew them the way I did: In the first picture, he's terribly nervous about the battle, which shows his lack of self-confidence. The second one, the fact that he's still nervous in the face of battle explains his introvertedness and how easily intimidated he is. The third shows how reckless he is and how little he cares about keeping himself safe in dangerous situations (Which is why he's in the middle of all of the battles). The fourth picture shows his extreme fear of fire and how it can put him in a stunned state if he gets too close to/around it. The fifth picture is foreshadowing of something menacing looming on the horizon, as well as character development for clover (i.e. her biggest concern is Noah, not the fact that she's facing a battle that she will definitely lose).

I had a ton of fun learning how to draw water (and noah's shoes) during this. I really wanted to try painting it in different ways and uses, so they mostly manipulated the water by standing on it and moving it around~
