I think it first aired in like the seventies? Maybe the eighties.  Either way, I'm way too young to have caught it then, but I caught it growing up all the same.  South Africa was fortunate (or unfortunate, depending on how you look at it) enough to get all the old shows from the seventies and eighties fro Britain and the US during the nineties after the sanctions were lifted, so... I pretty much grew up with everything from the Wombles to Dexter's Lab.  It's all muddled up.... I don't know what my point was!

Haha, it was actually from the 80s to 90s ('83 to '92). That show was great, I haven't watched it in ages...
