It has been some time since I did anything Winx Club related, mostly because this show has so much wasted potential or stuff it does wrong. I could tell you all about it, but that´d take me half a day to write, and most people would take a whole day to read that...

I agree that the show now is nothing like the earlier ones. The first 3-4 seasons are the one that I like and from there, it just got south. I just don't watch them, anymore. But I like to think back to when it was good!

Yeah, the show really did get crap past S5, but I was actually talking about the show in general, not just the later seasons.
I mean, at first I viewed it as a parody of various genres, and it was great at that. But then, even that became difficult to convince myself of.
I guess my main concern with this show is that I know what it could´ve been. You see, the guy who made Winx Club, Iginio Straffi, also worked on Huntik: Secrets and Seekers.
And Huntikhad it all: World building, great and believable characters, interesting conflicts, and it was the first time in my life that I didn´t see the good guys always winning. Also, the line between "good" and "bad" was very thin in this show, since pretty much any character could acquire any form of magical items, learn pretty much any spell they wanted (with a few exceptions, but those are mostly altered versions of already existing spells), and the only thing that seperated the good guys from the bad ones was their actions.
Granted, they did break into a cathedral that one time, but that was an emergency...
