Description Now, lemme just rant a little and maybe give some insight to others about this issue.

The Akimichi clan has become somewhat popular lately to where there are more and more adopts or characters that are intended to be Akimichi based...

First off, Akimichis are not like the Inuzukas, Hyuuga clans lower branch, Kaguya, or Amagiri clans to where their markings are identical and a key trait in recognizing the clan, or part of the clan, they belong to. They have markings, yes but they are not all identical which bugs me when I see a considerable amount of Akimichi can based characters with identical swirl marking that Choji has.

Some may say, 'Well doesn't your Akimichi have swirl markings'.
Yes and no. Her partial swirl is apart of a butterflys tail. That, and it curves the opposite direction. Yes, Cho isn't a very original name for my Akimichi as her original creation and intention was to be Chojis kin. As I redesigned and referbashed her, I felt it no longer was a good idea(despite their very similar 'kind' personality that would make them good siblings). It was also decided not to change her name, but put a reason behind it. Her markings are the beginning reason for her name.

But that's beside the point.

Akimichis are intended to have markings mostly found upon their cheeks. Sometimes that is not always the case, but it is a predominate feature for the clan. No two Akimichis have the same markings! Even the colors are varied and not just one basic color. Even kinship doesn't mean they will have the same markings!

My collage of known Akimichi members should be a very clear representation of the clan and their markings.

So please, when you consider making an Akimichi character, don't give them some generic swirls as their markings. Be unique! Be creative! Just make sure it falls mostly upon their cheeks(I mean I could be wrong when I added Chojis mother into this as hers could be considered 'nonAkimichi markings' but still!).

With that I end my little Rant and knowledge for others about the Akimichis.
