◣ A b o u t ◥███ Short Introduction
Issun Atotoryo (アート塗料一寸, Atotoryo Issun), also known as Inkweaver (インクウィーバー, Inkuu~ībā), is a student in class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. He is a protagonist of My Hero Academia.

███ History
Issun's parents were narcissists. His mother was a somewhat famous artist and his father was a Pro Hero. Their main concern when raising Issun was that he followed the same path they did to the letter. Something Issun really didn't like, so he tried doing his own thing. Something his parents didn't like. They generally igonred Issun's interests in favor of what they want Issun to do. Things got worse when Issun was diagnosed with a form of dwarfism, causing them to stop caring about Issun outright and start trying for another child that they can mold better. Issun had to learn how to do things on his own because his parents stopped caring for him, although they still paid for everything they needed to and did the bare minimum required to still be allowed to legally keep him. Eventually, though, Issun had enough, got a small job, and managed to move out at 12 years old. His parents didn't care.

  Being a dwarf meant that Issun would generally never get to see the action, and if he was running track, it was easy for him to disappear behind other people and not get noticed. So he had to learn to get ahead of the crowd before they started blocking him out. He spent most of his middle school days learning how to run, and eventually started being capable of keeping up with the track team despite his short legs. He also spent time stretching and practicing acrobatic stunts and parkour, among other things, to make himself stand out a bit more. His surprising aptitude for athletics, alongside his incredibly useful if limited Quirk and his above average grades, he was accepted to UA when he applied.

Issun's side job? Artist. He works on commission, and is surprisingly popular. He still didn't get approval from his mother on this regard though, because his art style was sumi-e, while his mother was a modern artist. Issun never understood modern art and preferred classic styles.
◣ A p p e a r a n c e ◥

███ Appearance
Issun is a light-skinned boy with a somewhat toned build. Issun suffers from dwarfism, and is 143 cm tall, giving him relatively short limbs. He has fairly long, dark grey hair that covers the right side of his face. His left eye is left visible, and is bright green in color. He's missing his right eye, and the socket is scarred over, which is why his hair covers it most of the time.

He wears a leather spaulder and gauntlet over his left arm, as well as belts that loop around his torso for the spaulder to connect to. These belts also have his ink pots and a pouch for his brushes. He wears these regardless of his current outfit.

When he's wearing the school uniform, he doesn't wear the jacket, showing the gauntlet.

Issun's casual outfit consists of a grey hoodie with a brown leather vest over it. He still wears the gauntlet and spaulder, as well as the belts. He also wears a pair of black pants and brown shoes with dark brown soles. He'll sometimes keep a brush over his ear.

Issun's Hero Costume is modeled after a samurai, with some modern modifications. He wears a different leather vest over the traditional gi, and still wears the spauler. The leather gauntlet is worn under the sleeve. He also wears a kasa to keep his head covered and face hidden. It also offers some protection from the effects of his own Quirk, such as bright lights.
███ Personality
  Issun is short and short on temper. He resents his short stature, and developed a pretty severe insecurity about his height. He tends to lash out at people that make fun of his height, which he thinks is everyone taller than him. He's similar to Bakugo in that he doesn't like to be pitied by anyone. And unlike Bakugo, who's used to standing out and craves the attention he had when he was younger, Issun was always left out of the spotlight because of issues related to his height, among other things.

His height is his only real vice, though. After knowing him for a while, Issun mellows out a lot around people and shows a more average personality. He has normal interests and goals, but he shows some sadness regarding parents, given how his parents basically started ignoring him after a while. He doesn't let it bother him as much as Shoto does, though. Issun is also shown to have near-masterful control of his emotions, despite his near-constant initial rage. When he first meets Saturn Chun~sam, the first thing he notices is her extreme timidness and immediately takes a calmer tone, despite his stress from being late for the fist day of class at UA due to getting hit by a car and her bumping into his freshly injured arm. He's capable of going from sheer rage to calm on a dime depending on the situation.

Overall Abilities: Issun doesn't have much upper body strength, but he makes up for it in lower body strength. Issun is highly athletic and capable of some adept parkour maneuvers, making him a highly mobile fighter. His close-range abilites suck, but he more than makes up for it with the adaptability of his Quirk and the different ways it can be used depending on the environment around him, and the fact that it has a massive range. He's a jack-of-all trades in this regard; not the best choice, but good to have around just in case.

Quick Thinking: Issun's capable of some pretty decent improvisation, mainly involving liberal applications of his Quirk, due to its multi-elemental nature and its many uses, inside and outside of combat.

Acrobatic: Issun is a surprisingly swift runner, capable of keeping up with other high-speed Heroes despite having no visible boosts to speed. He can boost his speed a little bit with Galewind, but he doesn't always need to do it. Issun is also surprisingly flexible, and this, combined with his short stature, lets him fit into and hide or pass through tight spaces that most people can't get through, such as some vents or small windows. The only person that beats him in this regard is Mineta. He's also great at parkour.

Stamina: Issun's got some high stamina to account for the amount of extra running he needs to do just to keep up with his peers. This lets him stay in action for a lot longer without getting tired and sluggish.

███ Quirk
Celestial Brush (天体ブラシ, Tentai Burashi): Named and similar to the power straight out of Okami, Issun can use ink and a brush to produce a variety of effects based on the startpoint and endpoint of the lines or shapes he draws. These draw from ink pots attached to his belt. When his ink pots run out of ink, he won't be able to use his Quirk until they refill. It takes about 30 seconds to gain enough ink for a simple power slash, and about 10 minutes for the pots to fully refill. The amount of time and the amount of times he can use his Quirk varies depending on the amount of ink he uses for the other abilities. It's also possible to--and very easy to--interrupt him before he can finish using his Quirk, causing the ink to be wasted with no effect.

Brushwork: Issun uses his brush to various different effects, based on what he draws in the air and his current surroundings.
Waterspout: Drawing a line from any source of water causes a line of water to appear, washing away anyone it hits.
Inferno: Same as Waterspout, but with fire.
Thunderstorm: Same as above, but with a source of electricity, such as a thundercloud or a sparking lightbulb.
Blizzard: Same as above, but with a source of ice.
Power Slash: A basic slashing motion across objects, rending them. If it's sentient life, it feels like getting struck by a wooden sword and knocks them back a bit. He can cut through logs.
Galewind: Drawing a spiral or a loop in the air creates a gust of strong wind in the direction the loop was drawn.
Greenspout: Drawing a line from a plant to his wrist will create a vine that pulls him to that plant.
Bloom: A simple power that occurs from drawing a circle around plants, causing them to rejuvinate and grow at an accelerated rate. If used on people, they experience a positive mood direction.
Cherry Bomb: A circle with a line through it summons a fairly large firework bomb. The explosion itself is weak, but it has an incendiary effect and is strong enough to knock people around. He can create 2 at a time.

Armor: Ever since he was hit by a car before arrived at UA, Issun wore armor on his right arm. It offered a decent amount of protection in combat. He still wears them even after his injuries get better. The gauntlet also serves as an emergency splint if his arm is broken.
Ink Pots: He has 2 ink pots that he carries around ink in. The ink regenerates over time. This is the only aspect of his Quirk Issun has no answers to how the hell it works, although sometimes he just speeds up the process by emptying an ink cartridge into the pots. He doesn't do this often because ink is expensive.
Sumi Brush: The brush he uses to make his Quirk work. He always has a bunch of spares, just in case he loses or breaks one.

Issun is based on Issun the Wandering Artist from Okami. Which is ironic given that that Issun is a massive pervert, and the OC Issun hates perverts.
Issun suffers from some severe bad luck with vehicles. He's been hit with seven cars, a helicopter, a motorcycle, and a ferry, and two planes he's been on have had to make emergency landings. He gets hit by a motorcycle while everyone's moving into dorms. That's why he wears the leather armor.
Development Trivia:
Issun used to be a Pro Hero before I chose to age him down to student. His initial ship was Kori Suisei before he was aged down. That ship was ended for obvious reasons.
Issun has had two redesigns.
In his initial design, Issun's Hero Costume had a sun pattern on his vest and he didn't have a spaulder or gauntlet.
In his first redesign, his right eye was shown more clearly.
