What? you say? Butters and Bokeh? Are you looking at that EXIF data and seeing that the focal length is 50mm and that there is a aperture of F/1.7? Do you say "Taryn! Don't tell me you got your prime lens!!!"

And I say YES! Yes I did get my prime lens!! It came in yesterday, paid for mostly by birthday money, costume prize money and portrait sitting money and I am now the proud owner of a Nikon 50mm 1.4D lens. It's shiny. It's awesome. Look at that paper thin DoF where one eye is in focus while the other, just a couple inches away is already going out of focus.

So I had to show it off, my wonderful shiny new prime lens with one of my favorite subjects: Butters!
