Can you tell I have a bit of a cheetah obsession? I believe that this look was caused by a zoo worker driving by on one of their electric carts. And it was getting close time, which meant having a tasty meal.

Notice the partially exposed claws on his back feet--cheetahs don't have fully retracted claws on all four feet, which allows them for better traction and turning while they're chasing their prey. When running at full speed, a single stride is 30 feet long, which amazes me because that's over half the length of our house!
