I had this idea of Sai giving Naruto and Sakura a ride on his ink bird a while ago, but wasn't sure how to draw it at the time. Originally, I thought of putting more landscape scenery but it seemed too ambitious (for now) and I wanted to focus more on the characters.

Partly inspired by the chapter cover of old Team 7 riding eagles. The rhyme was...something random that stuck in my head while drawing the picture.

It's totally amazing I really love this kind of happy picture. It really let me forget the kinda dramatical atmosphere of the manga's current events
