This is actually the first attempt of me drawing full bodied dog. (Which I started in my last live stream about a week ago)I've decided that paws are my kryptonite XD
I also decided to use a more sketchy style of cell shading for this, like my early works on dog facial anatomy, which I actually really enjoyed doing ^^ I still need to work on dog anatomy though... Its not my strong point XD
I also think its time to finally characterise the subject I keep drawing (see my dog icon and random sketchdumps for images) as Piper. I don't know if i'll actually get around to developing them or making a ref or anything though!
Any advice on canine anatomy would be greatly appreciated

Thankyou! I think all my practice with sketching random dog heads really helped me get the hang of how they work anatomy wise! XD
Now I think about it, I have drawn a few bodied canines before, but normally with a heavy use of referencing or not from a side on perspective like this... More from the front where you can't see all their features... I think that's what I meant when I wrote the description. I don't keep a good track of my gallery
It's really hard to switch from something like horse anatomy to dog anatomy. You really don't realize how different they are until you start drawing them. DX

I was once obsessed with sketching random dog heads too, by the way xD
But it's anyway one of your first ones, and it's good even if it wasn't
My experience of switching from something to another is dog/wolf anatomy to human anatomy, so... yeah, much differences there too xD
