About: The captain of the ship, the crew follows his orders when he gives them, but when he turns away they usually stop. He's become soft and merciful and the crew doesn't respect him anymore. He allowed a stowaway woman to remain on ship, and it's obvious he's falling for her and is almost willing to give up the ship for her. He used to be ruthless and merciless but now he's a romantic who stays in his cabin all day and is hardly aware of what's happening on his ship.

About: Used to be quiet, loyal, and respectful. During a fight, he was back to back with Lucas and didn't realize Lucas had run off, leaving him alone, undefended, and outnumbered. He lost an eye that day, as well as part of his sanity and his respect for his brother. He now controls the ship, unknown to his brother, and the crew is all too happy to follow his commands over Lucas's. He mans the wheel and overlooks all the activity on the ship while Lucas stays in his cabin. Luther is now dark and ruthless and a tad insane. He plans to one day fight Lucas and fully gain control of the ship. Also, towards Lucas, he acts more or less like his old self so Lucas doesn't suspect anything from him, but inside Luther is still angry at him for abandoning him, and for nearly giving up their ship for a lying woman.

Age: 31
Height: 6'2
About: Calm and collected, but also very smart and tactical. Usually advises Lucas against bad decisions. He's aware command of the ship has more or less fallen under Luther but he still considers Lucas the captain. Is unaware that Luther plans to fully take over, so he still trusts Luther completely. James also doesn't trust Maria at all but he can tell there's something about her that he can't quite put his finger on. Also, James' parents abandoned him when he was very young, and he doesn't know why, or who they were.

Name: Maria
Age: 28
Height: 5'7
About: Maria attempted to take over the ship once, and was thrown into the prison below deck. She's since been released, but remains on the ship, but not as part of the crew. She fights for the crew if they need it but otherwise stays to the sides and doesn't help out. Everyone knows she wants to be captain, because she makes it quite obvious. She doesn't love Lucas at all but pretends sometimes in hopes of seizing control of the ship. She was not always a pirate; when she was 15, she was on a large merchant ship manned by her father, when pirates attacked and stole the cargo they were transporting. they burned the ship, and killed everyone aboard, except for Maria, who they couldn't find. Maria swam to the nearby shore and grew up in a small town, occasionally meeting and trading with pirates.

There's a lot more to the story but I think I'll save that for later.
