Description
This is that close up look at my contest entry for that Win a Gennosuke Statue thing on Usagiyojimbodojo.com.
Since Usagi has changed over the years, as Mr. Sakai's style has “evolved”, it was kind of like growing up with him in a more literal sense.
Back in the late eighties/early nineties he was chubby and cuddly despite being no less dangerous with his daisho, I was a kindergartener and thus also cuter.
Flash forward to the two-thousand and three version of the TMNT's cartoon and suddenly Usagi is trim and sporting a bad-ass steely glare, and I for my part have grown into a pleasantly plain young lady.

Usagi and Spot the Wonder Lizard belong to Mr. Sakai. I belong to myself.
The medium used was markers.
