Description
I decided to throw some color on my recent Spiderman sketch. I'm a fan of his original costume with the darker colors and more narrow eyes. This was loosely based off Steve Ditko's Spidey design, as well as Lee Bermejo's. Since this is a comic book drawing, I pushed the anatomy a bit in this image to get him to look more "spidery" (if that's a word). I didn't spend a lot of time coloring this piece because it's my least favorite part of creating comic art, but it is something I've been working on a bit more lately.
