SaberCat arrives at the radio station and finds that the place truly has been trashed by some sort of monster. DJ Piper is hiding under a table. He's a little shaken, but unharmed. SaberCat learns that the other saber is on the roof trying to destroy the antenna.
SaberCat and DJ Piper belong to me.

I still find it a little odd that there'd be a second... what was the term again... a second Progon spirit lurking around. Garrison was special; his essence was sealed away for a reason. Maybe there was some sort of prototype to him, or maybe someone made an effort to copy him... but who or what... WAIT A MINUTE!
I'm trying to tally up the things Smug has stolen. The SaberCat gem... the machine the Rubber Duck got superpowered by... and now a source of infinite energy.
I can't shake the feeling that these things will be used together for something very significant.That's very perceptive of you. You're right. There is a grand plan to these robberies. The Smug's employer is planning something big....it makes sense. The gem could have traces of Garrison left in it, which would be useful for replicating his essence. The machine was used to induce a superpowered transformation; it could be used to induce another in a slightly different way. And the source of energy, well, that one's obvious.
You'd think after my last theory got demolished, I'd be hesitant to make another one so quickly.

I appreciate all the thought you put into this, but sorry, that's way off track. The real answer is much more mundane.
I actually prepared a story in which SaberCat discovers that there are other Progon spirits out there looking for host bodies, in fact he witnesses them being unleashed, but that story was supposed to be a collaborative effort with other artists in the DU, but so far, very little work has been done on it. We're still hoping to get it done someday (I think), but it will be more of a flashback thing.
I guess I was just hoping that people would just accept that if one SaberCat existed, that surely others must also exist, and that it was only a matter of time before they revealed themselves.
