Description Took a little over 4 hours; I probably should have spent more time on it, but it was 3 o'clock in the morning, and I was tired...

Sketched and drew it by hand alone and used only a HB/#2 pencil.

Let me know what you think. I haven't really drawn much before this past month, and would like to get better, so any criticism is much welcomed! Have an awesome day, and thanks for looking!

I guessed right without looking at the title.
Really nice. I think you have potential for realism.
I have a tip, use a nose tissue. And shade layer. Nose tissue will make the pencil smooth and the picture mor skin like. Apply in layer to get the the fullness 3D effect.

I've been trying to incorporate blending more into my drawings, but it always seems like it's too much or too little. I've yet to find the perfect, in between amount...

Haha, well, I wanted to practice before I tried to draw myself. Don't want to mess up my face too much
Also, this was only the third portrait I have ever done in my whole life. I plan on starting a self portrait sometime soon, though! So, stay tuned!
