Here is the results of the last poll I put up, on Mother's day, the Fantasy mother & daughter pairing won, and as I decided to use some randoms from my own personal, original story/fantasy world called Arathor, on the left you see a mother and daughter of the Arlai race (specifically the Shen-Lai culture, which is based on China), and on the right you see a human mother and her daughter from the nation of Gildoras, (based on a number of European cultures). and the source of their binding in the middle!

a quick, tiny little story to explain things for you all:

Many from all over the world travel to the Vale of the Sprites, which is located at a nearly central place, between the great continents of Arathor, during the Mystic Season, to witness the birth of thousands of new sprites and fairies, and the light show in the night that comes with them. but here you see two mothers and their daughters from opposite sides of the world who ventured too close to a sprite with a more nefarious calling... is that a devious face in the center of it?? it almost looks like... but at least the kiddies seem to be enjoying the funny little sprite between them! while the mothers appear to have other things on their minds.. but as they both seem rather frustrated, one could guess what that might be. maybe they're frustrated at the fact that, despite all that travel they are unable to talk to each other? well, at least "Mmmph" is the same in every language..

and there you all have it! hope you all enjoy it, and let me know what you think. also hope you like the little bits of comedy I add to things.
