No she was not. Just a clients. Though my father had a basset named Barnie. I think Barnie though he was a lab. He acted like he was 10 feet tall and bulletproof

Yeah, Bassetts are usually convinced they are big dogs - which they are! They are just big dogs without the legs, that's all! And many Labs think they are itty bitty lap puppies in return. Ah, dog logic - gotta love it!
