I prefer The Thing from the first two movies. Sorry, but I did not like The Thing being naked in the reboot.

Don't apologize for that! I feel the same way! When they first revealed him, I was thrilled at how the rock texture looked and I think his design is beautiful from the waist up. But when they weren't showing a lot of his lower half, I got panicky and basically obsessed over my fear of him being naked, since that's when I started to suspect they weren't going to give him pants at all. Not giving him pants was an awful and unnecessary decision.
