I feel the same way. Although, I doubt we'll see the turtles fight Shredder soon. It took them this long to deliver a trailer.

OMG I thought I was the only one who hated the new foot soldiers' designs since no one was talking about them. I feel they f*cked up the Foot more than they did the ninja turtles. The only problems I have with the turtle designs are the lips, the size and the fact that they look a bit too human with the facial features.

From what I heard, the reason the Foot Soldiers are different is because these ones aren't the same as from the other series.
I've heard this particular Foot Clan is only the American division of a worldwide organization sized Foot Clan, hence why Shredder's not Oroku Saki, and it's likely if this IS true, then the division in Japan is more accurate, with Saki leading THOSE ones.

It could set up the 3 movie structure they're signed up for, as well.
Here's how I'd plan it out:
Movie 1) Introduce the characters, they take down New York's Foot Clan, learn of Oroku Saki's
2) They head to Japan, first fight with Saki, also revealing the Kraang
3) TMNT vs. Foot & Kraang or TMNT vs. Foot vs. Kraang

No offense taken. I've seen a few other people who feel that way about the turtles, and that's just a matter of opinion. I may not think the 2014 turtles are perfect, but I can easily look over the features I don't enjoy based on what I've seen from the trailer. I'm mainly waiting to see how it all pans out before I start loving it or hating it. Although, I thought Leo looked amazing at the end of the trailer, despite his lips.
And I agree, their new size could be fun, but they just don't seem like teenagers anymore, and that's the only reason for my reserves about how big they are. If they say the turtles are 18/19 years old (still technically teenagers) I'll let the size thing slide, but if they try to convince me they're closer to 16, that will be another point against the film for me. But that's just me.
I'm %100 with you on the foot soldiers though. Not only did they take away the two most important parts that make them Foot soldiers in the first place, they slapped ugly @$$ masks on their faces. Even if they made them human, like in the 2K3 series, they should at least have ninja skills.
I'm curious to see who's playing Casey and how he'll look in the film, as well. Just not overly worried about him, as I am with other concepts of the film.
