Anyway, as someone who learned not to judge a TMNT show too harshly before it is even released (learned that from the 2012 series), I was probably one of the best candidates for being a fan of both Rise and Mutant Mayhem, looking to get things to enjoy from them both. Of course, I seem to like Mutant Mayhem more as they started off playing all their winning cards up front. While I always found merit in Rise, I feel they started off a wee bit wobbly (and starting off more comedy-centric in an era where comedy-based reboots and spinoffs were generally frowned upon for being a dime a dozen certainly didn't help matters) and didn't really play to all its strengths until pretty late into its run when everyone had checked out.

But commentary aside, here's a cute picture of Rise April giving Mutant Mayhem April a cuddle.
