This iconic Rebellion from Devil May Cry, didnt model it from scratch, used some premade assets and purchased stock models to speed things up

Included inserts for 15mm copper rods which goes from the pommel up to the part where the jaw opens

Where the jaw bones join, upper jaw to lower jaw, there is no copper rod in the center, instead, I have made square 7x7mm iron rod inserts at the jaw joining points, which I have managed to conceal inside the model, and gets fixed in place very securely

Finally at the other side of the jaw, another 15mm copper rod is inserted and continues down the rest of the sword, until the final 20cm

At the final 20, I made step down printed insert to fit inside the hollow 15mm copper rod, with another cylindrical hole to fit in a 5mm iron rod that goes to the very tip of the sword, so that it doesnt simply snap off when you stab the sword into the ground

Every part is printed using PETG, fused by melting with a soldering iron, lots of motip putty, lots of sanding up to 240 grit, finally finished with rub and buff

I have made two of these now

1st is 158.6cm long, which weights 1613 grams, this has a higher infill density for rigidity

2nd is 142cm long, is which weights 1366grams, much ligher, but still high density at the weakest junction points

I also made a shipping container out of plywood with lots of foam and styrofoam so nothing inside moves for safe postage.

Everything included ended up measuring at 168 x 42 x 17cm with final weight of 14.4kg
