A question or two, if you have the time to answer. Is this a continuation of anything else, or is this the beginning? Is there anything people should know before starting to read? I don't want to miss out on any of this beauty.
And is this in any way inspired by D&D? These two look like half-elf and Dragonborn with amazingly awesome horn dreadlocks to me.
Love the panel layouts. I'm a sucker for perceived continuations of art between panels.

XD You are totally ok, this is the beginning of this comic. Technically it is a prequel to the comic i'll be writing known as Harvest of the Eyelords. So you're in the right place. Part of why i started here is because you'll get to know these characters and the ones to come a little more through this part of the story. At least before we jump into Harvest of the Eyelords. Granted I have at least 140 pages worth of script plus recordings of the Dungeons and Dragon sessions we held for this story as it continues. Sadly i'm not sure if all of it will reach the audience but hopefully one day it will.
To answer your question about D&D though as i noted yes this is a comic based on a D&D session. Just like my Hardway Mountain comic. Harvest of the Eyelords is still in the process of the first few chapters of story I've written so the game sessions aren't complete yet, however Hardway Mountain is a completed story and I just need to finish the art for it.

And nice! Tabletop RPGs make for an awesome hobby, and can really get those creative juices flowing! (I say, 50 pages into my planned trilogy about my current Pathfinder character's backstory. Whoops.)
